Old Number Showing on Phone after Port

I recently ported my old mobile number to replace my EE mobile number, the porting of the number worked as expected but there are still remains of my old mobile number on my mobile phone Galaxy S22 Ultra. If i go to contacts for myself it's showing both old and new mobile numbers.

Is my old number stored on my original EE sim card? if so and i request a new sim off EE would this remove all traces of my old number?
