Number porting from 3 to EE

Hi, i purchase EE sim online and also fill out the PAC code to transfer my number from 3 to EE, i received the new sim 31 December at the same time i already put  in the new sim, received a text saying "Hi from EE. Well transfer your number by 6pm on {DD/MM}. Thanks." but until now my number have not yet ported in to EE,  my contract with 3 ended 2 January, now  i received a text from 3 that they already disconnected my line, i hope someone could enlighten me on what is happening to my request.

We'd need to get access to your account to give you an update on the situation.

I'd recommend speaking to a guide by dialling 150 from an EE phone, or 07953 966 150.

My problem now is the old sim(three) is already disconnected so i can not receive any text or call, if i knew that this is gonna be a problem, i will not transfer my number to EE...
