Number migration

Hi,

I've recently switched from  Plusnet to EE  (mobile only). My Pac code etc was all given to EE online when I switched and I was told my old Plusnet number had been transferred as of last week (Tues.25th July).  I've just learned today that the migration seems to be only partially successful.  Some of my contacts can get in touch via my original (migrated)  number, but a couple of others (so far) are receiving messages from me on the EE Sim number that should have gone by now.  Anyone got any idea why this may be so?  One contact's provider  is Tesco Mobile, the other's is on 3.

Hi @GreenwoodC

Thanks for coming here.

What phone are you using?

Are you texting using a downloaded messaging app?

Leanne.

My phone is a Galaxy A32 5G.  I'm not using a downloaded messaging app

No problem @GreenwoodC

Let me know how you get on 🙂

Leanne.

Also coming from Plusnet, how long does number transfer take please?

As I joined on a weekend it took 3 days for my transfer.  It's much faster if you do it  on a weekday, I believe.

Thanks, as it happens I've had three port over this morning they took about 24 hours.

All sorted now.  Tech team members were extremely helpful.  Thank you
