Help please!
I submitted my PAC code to ee to transfer my old number. A few days later my old SIM stopped working so I started using my new ee SIM. I presumed the number had been transferred, but a week later I find out this wasnt the case. The old number hadn't been transferred.
I contacted ee. They said the process was never started, and I needed to contact Vodafone. Vodafone said the process was started, and as part of it they released/cancelled my old contract and phone number.
Now I'm stuck as Vodafone can't reactivate the number. Has anyone experienced this? Not sure what to do now. Ee must have started the process as that's the only way Vodafone would have known to release my contract. Am I correct thinking this?
Any help woyld be appreciated

If you have submitted a valid PAC to EE, then the porting process has been started and it is for them to resolve any issues with that port.
When you say your VF SIM stopped working "a few days later", a valid PAC is usually actioned the working day after submission to the recipient network - is this the same timescale?

Thanks for the reply. Yes that's correct. That's why I assumed the process had been completed. It's only when a friend mentioned that I phoned them via a new phone number that the I realised transfer hasn't actually taken place. I contacted ee and the agent said the the process hadn't started, but Vodafone said it had.
