Nobody can ring me

Moved to EE from Plusnet as they requested. Now I can't receive calls, but everything else works. Any ideas?

Did you connect to EE with a temporary number first, and subsequently ported your number? Could you receive calls before the port-in?

Can you receive text messages OK? How about if you send yourself a text message? When you make a call, is the correct number shown?

These questions will help diagnose what may have happened, but the chances are this is an account-specific issue that you should report to EE CS.

My number shows up as a different one that is the new SIM. I was promised
my previous number would get swapped over.

Please rectify this. Maybe it takes a few days to swap over.

Which day did you activate your new EE SIM? Did you provide your PAC as part of the sign-up process? This will answer the question as to when your PAC was submitted, and by extension when your number should port-in.

This is a user-community forum and no-one here has access to your specific account. We can advise you, but if yours requires CS intervention you will need to contact them directly.

I completed the online application form along with the PAC code etc on
Thursday. Today I received the SIM and popped that into my phone

If your SIM has been activated today, it will have a temporary number. The PAC will be submitted on Monday and your number ported on Tuesday.

Porting does not happen on weekends.

My phone number has still not been transferred over. Will this happen later
today or tomorrow?
