No signal no sim

Why am I still waiting for my number to be changed over? I've done the PAC code last week and got told it will be sorted by Friday and I'm still waiting for signal on my EE SIM card after my old Vodafone one has stopped working now. 

And I cant make a call out on my mobile to activate the swap over to EE which I go told to do once my old SIM card stops working

I received my SIM with my new phone the Sunday before last 

I have rebooted my phone a couple of times

If this still isn't working, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team so they can check the status of your port.
