Hi, I bought a new phone contract 2 days ago, and since swapping my simcard to my new phone, I have not been able to get any signal whatsoever. EE advise was to call them... But i cant. Can someone help please?

Does the SIM still work in your old phone?

Nope. It’s been deactivated from that one and won’t recognise the SIM card either.

A SIM isn't "activated" to any individual phone - you insert it and it works. If a SIM isn't working on two separate phones, then there's 2 potential causes..
1: There is a coverage outage in your area, causing a loss of service. Do you get the same problem in other areas? You should still be able to use WiFi-calling in the meantime
2: There's an account-specific issue with it, thus other EE users won't be affected. Only CS can confirm this, who can be contacted on 0800 0798586 from any working phone.

WiFi calling doesn’t work either sadly on either phone. I’ll need to speak to EE on my wife’s phone then.
thanks for you help. 👍
