I've just upgraded, new sim same number. New phone is just saying no service. I followed the link and believe its activated. Old phone is still working as it was.

EE often supply a replacement SIM with upgrade phones incase there's a problem with your current SIM or it's not working.
If your current SIM works and fits your new phone, then that's the best solution.
