New sim but want

Hi my ex partner has taken my sim card and broke my phone, however I was wondering if it's possible to purchase a new sim card to put in a new phone but retrieve my old number as this number I had is how health visitor for my child stays in touch and also possible landlord and employers can contact me on. If it's possible to retrieve my current number on a new sim card, how do I do this please.

@Kels260122  Providing your the account holder for that number then yes you can request a replacement SIM card.  If you’re not the account holder for that number then unfortunately there is no way for you to obtain a new sim with that number.
