Hi everybody. I just changes to EE and ordered a sim card, made sure to go through the process of keeping my old number. But the new sim card arrived with a different number, and now I have no idea how to fix it.
Is it a quick fix?
Thank you,

Reference to "24hours" is misleading.
Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.
A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

@Pixieeeez the new sim will come with a temporary number because your number needs to now move your from your other SIM card, if the EE sim came with your number already on it it’ll of cut you off until you got the EE sim . You cannot have two SIM cards with the same number, your number now has to migrate over to the new EE sim. Provided you gave EE your PAC your number will migrate after 24 hours. The only problem you have now is this will not commence until Monday as it takes upto 24 hours to migrate a number and it’s not done over the weekend.
