New EE sim

  • I got a new EE contract (sim only) because I moved from a different network. Got sim from a EE shop and they told me my old number would transfer across today and to put the sim in. Sim is in and I can’t send any text messages, when I call someone it says I’ve dialled an incorrect number (which is very strange cause I definitely know these numbers are my friends). Internet works so here I am. 
    Internet also says it may take 24 hrs for sim to work? And I only put it in maybe an hour ago so who knows.

Pretty sure the sim is activated because the EE worker said they already did it and EE shows on the bar at the top of my phone.

help please 😞
