Hi I am trying to set up an old mobile phone for my daughter but it was locked. I got the IMEI number and entered it into the unlock device section of the EE website. I was then given a code to unlock the phone but this did not work. Unfortunately I did this too many times and now I am getting a message "sim network pin blocked. Enter sum network puk". I tried to ring EE but no option to actually speak to a member of staff. I don't have an EE account so can't get the puk from my account.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Phil

Hi @Mightyred80
Could you try using the last 8 numbers of your unlocking code and see if this takes you to the next screen, if so, then try and enter the first 8 digits of the unlock code.
Does this work for you?
Leanne.

@Mightyred80 Entering the device unlock code does not block a Sim card that only happens when you enter the wrong sim pin too many times.
A PUK code isn’t to unlock a phone it’s to unblock a sim.
what device is it ?

If you log into your EE Online account and go to Plans & Subscriptions, scroll down to Phones and devices and you'll see your PUK code there.
