My deco 5g router is unable to detect my EE sim card

I recently bought a deco x80-5g router, then I inserted the EE sim into the router, but the router is unable to detect my EE sim card. 

I contacted tp-link technical support but they said they couldn't help on this, so I'm wondering what went wrong

Does the same SIM work in other devices? Be they phones or routers?

Sorry to be a bit negative on this but I personally don't rate TP-Link LTE/4G Routers at all, their Tech Support is, how can I say, rubbish, and there 3/4G Routers are overrated and under speced by other Suppliers, so I'm guessing their 5G stuff is going to be simular.

The EE SIM card works in the other phone and router, it is just not working on the deco x80-5g

If the SIM card works in another device please try contacting the manufacturer again to get this looked into in more detail.
