Moving my number to EE

When I placed my order of my pay monthly phone, I was asked if I wanted to transfer my number to EE and to give them my PAC code. I did this and I was just wondering how long it takes to transfer my number and how would I know that the transfer has been completed? I ordered the phone on 11/08 @ 8pm.

@AlfieB7 have you already got the EE SIM card and phone? If not, then it would have been better to wait until you at least had the E|E SIM card. It normally takes a couple of days, so if it has not already happened, should do within the next day or two.

Yeah, I have the EE SIM card in the phone and activated. 

And how would I know it’s been transferred? Do I get an email or something?

@AlfieB7 , if you have both phones, then keep looking at your SIM cards, once your number is transferred, your old SIM card will not work, but the new one will, you should then get text messages etc on the one with the EE SIM card.

@AlfieB7  when did you receive the device?  Number ports take up to 24h but do not happen over the weekend.
