I lost my EE sim but can't log into an account as I can't get a passcode. How do I put my previous EE phone number on to a new EE sim card I bought at the shop. I can't see anything on being able to do this.
Thanks

It's not normally possible to transfer numbers between EE accounts, but I definitely want to make sure we've looked into every option we can to help.
Is the number you want to keep on contract or pay as you go?
Also when is it that you last used this?

Hello @p_malone1977 and welcome to the community.
Have you credited a NEW EE ID for the NEW EE APP? if so you can manage this via the app.
If your having issues with the app or with activation you'll need to contact customer services on 0330 1231 105.

Hi @Peter_W
It is a PAYG sim onto another PAYG sim as mine got scratched when I went to change phones and now it won't work. So I went to the shop and bought a new sim but I only bought the other sim last Wednesday and topped up £10 first time I got the sim. So I still have an active plan but have just given my mates the new number and came change it again due to letting businesses and professionals my number.
So if it's possible to keep my previous phone number that is on EE on to the new sim which is EE I'd be very grateful.
Thanks Paul

Thanks for taking the time to explain all of that for me, @p_malone1977.
Normally if you need a new SIM we would give you a blank replacement rather than a new PAYG one with its own number attached.
When was it you last used the number that you want to keep?
Provided this is still active we should definitely be able to get it transferred to a new SIM.
