Lost a simcard and replacement asking for pin number

Does the phone ask for a PIN to unlock the device?

Or, are you trying to register the new SIM card?

I have already registered with EE but I can’t gain access to the app without putting in a Pin Number

If you can't remember what PIN you set for the app when you first set it up, try deleting the app, and reinstalling it, it should ask you to set a new PIN.
