Hi,
My Dad passed away 4 months ago. I cancelled his monthly SIM contract shortly after.
I was wondering what the policy is on if, or when, the phone number gets recycled and reissued to another customer
Is there a way to hold this number from being recycled?
Or if not, then can I request the number and add it to my policy (as we were both on EE) as a second sim.
Thanks in advance to any responses.

Hi @Tuffers91
Welcome to the community. I'm so sorry for your loss.
If you fill in this bereavement form, a specialist team will be in contact with you to discuss your father's number.

You could have taken over the no. when you informed EE some months ago. It's probably too late now.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP
