How long does it take to port number

On June 1st I ported a number from Three mobile into my account in one of the EE stores, person was very helpful and got the sim activated to start the porting process and it was done within 6 hours.

I went into the same store on 14th June and saw a different person, who tbh wasn't as helpful as the other sales rep. We had to ask about getting the sim activated for the number to be ported while we were in store and he said as it was Sunday it would be Monday/Tuesday before it was completed.

So far not received any update, but is there a way to check how far along the progress of porting the number is, so we can ensure it is activated asap as the person who will be using the number is only with us for a few days.

thanks

It'll be ported within 1 working day from when you activate the SIM on the EE network. As you got on the w/end the porting will start sometime today & be completed tomorrow. No way of checking!

@walkerx  if you provide the PAC on the 1st it should of been done by now.   It’s probably best to call customer support.  But if you provide the PAC last Sunday it should be completed by today, if it’s not completed by the end of today you need to call customer support about this tomorrow.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
