You've put your question into the subject line rather than the body of your message, and thus it's been truncated - your question isn't complete. I'm going to guess at your question....

All new SIMs are activated immediately on a new EE number. A port-in using a PAC takes one working day from when the PAC is submitted.

A port-in using a PAC takes one working day from when the EE SIM is received & activated.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

It's almost 60 hours already.  I was told to wait until there is no signal on the current sim and then put the one from EE!

You've not explained the background to this, so I'm going to hazard another guess as to what you've done... You've bought a new phone from an EE retail shop or online, and provided your PAC as part of the sales process. If so (and if not, please do explain....), then you've been told wrong.

You need to activate your EE SIM by inserting it into your new phone and it will be using a temporary number initially. Your PAC will then be submitted for port-in. A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

Thank you
