Having issues porting my number over to EE

Hi there everyone. I’m new to EE. Friday 10th Aug, like yesterday. I told the application form to “port in” my number. I entered the PAC code number.
Today I tried, and I say tried because for a communication company EE seem to be extremely difficult to communicate with.
QUESTION: Is it always so problematic to get the Algorithm to understand a query? Are mew PIN Numbers required at the start of each new sentence? Are the “message assistants” unable to comprehend a simple query?

it is looking increasingly likely I will trigger the option to cancel. I seem to have been Nudged to this by a very poor experience with EE. I’m not trying to land a jet liner, I just want to bring my old phone number with me.

Am I just unfortunate?

thanjs for your time. Chris T.

@3_ChrisT  Just unfortunate,  I say this because how many numbers are ported to EE without issue.   I would just call customer services to sort this because even if you request this now it’ll not be ported till Tuesday as number ports don’t happen over the weekend and the process will started Monday and can take up to 24 hours.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
