Esim deleted, cannot activate new esim

I deleted my esim on iPhone by mistake when out of U.K. help bot said they’d provided new one I get error message when I try to activate on the app & don’t receive a PIN by text

Are you still abroad? You'll need to be connected to the EE network in the UK to activate a new SIM.
