Esim activating time limit?

Ive recently purchased an ipad and an esim for a Christmas present is there a time limit to activate the esim?

Welcome to the EE Community

If you have selected the eSIM option with your iPad then it should stay available to download and install during setup of the device, there should be no impact to waiting to activate it. Obviously the contract and payments will start from the date the order is processed but you can wait to download and install the eSIM.

If you did have any issues downloading it during first time setup though, it should be easy to download a replacement via the EE app. Our help page has information on how first time setup should go and how to get a replacement if you needed to.
