Yes, you can get an Esim on a contract, but not on payg

Hi @Harin 

Why are you wanting an eSIM? Unless your device is eSIM only or you are planning on using two sim cards in the same device, there is no need to use an eSIM, and you should stick to a physical SIM where possible.

eSIMs can put you in risky situations, for example your phone may break and you are then unable to place your SIM in a new phone - instead you need to either call EE for a replacement physical sim in the post, which takes time, or go into store. If you're abroad then you are stuck until you get to the UK, because all SIMs have to be activated on the UK network.
