Hypothetical question. If you had a e-sim and your phone was lost/stolen while abroad  and you blocked it, can you activate the e-sim on a new phone while still abroad?

@swindy  No as the eSim wouldn’t receive the information to activate because it’s trying to do this on a roaming network.  You need to be in the UK for the process to activate. 

You also need to report the device lost to get it blacklisted.

That's useful information thanks.  Can you activate a normal SIM card from outside the UK?

We recommend being in the UK using the EE network when activating SIMs.
