Changed mobile number

Hi all

I recently changed my number and although it's changed on my app and building etc people still receive text messages from my old number. The number is disconnected so not sure what's going on

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Text NUMBER to 150 - do you receive the expected response?

If you send a text to your own number, do you receive it as expected, including the "from" number being correct?

On mobile phone 

It replies from the new number.

In which case my other question, if you send a text to your own number, do you receive it as expected, including the "from" number being correct?

I have texted my old number and got a reply from the old one, the sender is my new number and received from my old.   Hope this makes sense.

how did you change your number?

Could it be RCS is still using your old number?
