@Davidlariviere  you have use of an eSIM you need to be a contract customer.   That can be a sim only contract.  You can request your PAC via texting PAC to 65975 and then when you order the contract you can enter the PAC in the appropriate field.   This will authorise EE to transfer your number to EE from smarty.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Can I ask please - I tried starting an order for a sim-only deal, and it just says 'physical sim' in the basket. It only goes on to add-ons and checkout after that. So how do I change it to an esim please? (I didn't actually complete the order). Thanks

Provided it is a Pay Monthly contract, you can replace the physical SIM with an E-SIM after you receive it, via your EE Online Account if you don't have the option when ordering.

Through the EE App this would be Profile > Settings > Replace my SIM/eSIM.

Hey there @grangeroyston.

Welcome to the Community 😊

Like @Matt_124 has mentioned, you can request a replacement eSIM via the EE app, but there are a couple of other ways to do this, too.

If you have an iPhone, it's now possible to switch this over directly via the phone's software.

Just check out their help page here with all of the details you need on how to get this sorted out.

Alternatively, if you're at all worried about the transfer process, you can also visit one of our retail stores with a valid passport or UK driving licence, and we'll be able to activate a new SIM or eSIM free of charge on the day.
