Can't activate new SIM as the old ESIM is deleted

Ordered a new SIM as the ESIM was not working properly. However I cannot activate the new SIM as I deleted the old ESIM. What should I do? Also what security checks/verifications will they do if I call them or go to the store? Will I have to show them my ID, email me a code etc. Thanks

@8Gisthefuture  if you go to a EE store you will need to take in date photo ID with you.  If you call customer services you’ll have to pass a security check first.
