Can't activate my SIM

I have a PAYG sim card and am unable to activate it. I rang and topped it up, but struggling to register it to my account as I can't seem to receive a text? Is there another way of activating it?

Hi @MartinHazel

If you are unable to receive the text to register for a My EE account, please call us on 150 or 0800 079 8586 and the team will get this set up. 

The SIM card is already activated, does the network status checker show any problems for the area, if you select 'check status'?

@MartinHazel  Do you have a signal showing on the device?    Have you tried restarting the device? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi Chris, 

The phone seems to flip between 1 or 2 bars and emergency calls. I rang 150 and topped up to ensure there's money on the account, but can't seem to register on my account. I enter the number and then wait for a text which never arrives. Clearly I can't then enter the sim card number, so I'm not even sure the card is actually activated. 

Is there another way to activate it?
