My daughter has requested to port her number from one network to EE but she has requested this on my mobile and not hers.
I’m now worried I’ll have her number in a few days and mine will be cancelled. Can this port be cancelled?
I’ve tried calling EE but they’ve not been open since 6:30pm tonight!

It's your PAC if she got it for your no. That's what I mean.

No my PAC number hasn’t been given, only hers.
Do you think the port will fail as PAC number doesn’t belong to my number?

If the PAC doesn't belong to your no. what are you worried about? I thought from your OP that she got a PAC for your no.

I don’t really understand PAC etc. I thought maybe that she requested her number with her PAC, so her number would be on my SIM and i would no long have my number. That’s why I was worried

How did she request the PAC? Did she text PAC to 65075 from your SIM? If so, she would be requesting the PAC for the no. that sent the text, i.e. yours, & it would be your PAC.

Plusnet emailed me the PAC yesterday, as I pay my daughters bill (plusnet are no longer being a mobile network so she is moving to EE) and EE sent me the new sim today. I called 150 from my phone to ask EE to do the port and they sent a text to follow the instructions. I knew the instructions was to be completed on my daughter’s phone but my daughter didn’t know this. Unfortunately I got a little side tracked she done the port on my phone.

Thank you for your help. I didn’t understand PAC was personal for each mobile number. I feel better knowing this
