I upgraded to a new sim yesterday, thought i’d be getting a new sim but the new contract was just applied to the sim I already have in my phone. Every time i try to call anyone the call ends straight away without ringing. What do I do? I’ve already tried to reset my iphone.

Changing your priceplan is indeed just a change of a plan and there's no need to replace a working SIM.
Can you receive calls OK? How about sending & receiving texts?
Is there any difference if you dial a call manually cf calling from your contacts?
