Hi my phones broke but replaced it with a new I was just wandering if you could help with a sim with my old number on please

@Keanna You mean you was using the eSim in that device. To get a replacement sim you need to go to an EE store with photo ID and request a replacement sim or you can call customer services and request a replacement sim.

A SIM-Free phone still has a SIM. It is sold as SIM-Free meaning it not sold with a SIM to be not tied to any particular network but you still need a SIM to use it.
