Activation of new sim

Good Evening

i recently ordered a new SIM card since I had misplaced the old one and unable to activate the new sim. When I use the link it advises that a pin will be sent to the old sim which I do not have. Hence how do I go about activating the new sim please?

I have the same issue but no way of getting through to customer care at EE - each time I contact i go around in a loop - I'm trying to set up my wife's phone and so when i call EE on my phone they think everything is OK - I cannot call on Wife's phone because there is no Sim signal - help?

Hello @rich129

Welcome to the community. 

Once you have connected to a member of our customer care team you can then notify them you are not calling regarding your number. 

I would recommend selection any option to get you through to customer services.

Hi James, I used the EE number when I was UK in 2021 but I didn't use it when I was back to Pakistan in Jan 2022. Now I am back to UK and I have the sim but unfortunately it showing no service. Should I issue a new with sim no because it connected with my bank account. How can I activate the sim?

Hi @Haneef

Is this a pay as you go SIM? 

If yes, you will now not be able to activate your SIM due to how long it has not been used for. When a SIM has not been used for any chargeable activity for 179 days, your account will go into hibernation and any credit will be removed.  After 273 days your number will be recycled and lost.
