I've just got a new sim only contract and received the new sim today. My old one appears to have been deactivated (no service) so I'm not able to receive the text with the 6 digit pin to activate the new sim. How can I go about activating the sim without being able to call EE?

In this case, you would need to call us from any other phone on 0800 079 8586 and the team will get this looked into for you.

You may be able to rry a live-chat when you're logged into your myEE, but otherwise will likely have to wait until you do have access to another phone.
Incidentally, changing your priceplan on an existing number doesn't require a new SIM. Taking a new line with a new number, if that's what you did, would.
