Activating a new sim card

My son lost his Sim card so I ordered a new one from EE. To activate it I am told EE says it sends a six digit pin, however he has not received a text. I'm not sure what the problem is, and whether it's to do with his phone.

How did you order your replacement? Have you tried just popping the SIM card in?

I ordered it online and received it in the post.

Also have had to put it in a different phone as he lost the Sim Card tray in his phone - no idea what he did!

Do you think the change of phone may be a factor?

No it shouldn't be, @Bourbon1.

I would suggest speaking to our Mobile Care team so they can make sure everything is registered on our side.
