2 x sim card only upgrade

I have 2  sim only cards on my account (mine and husbands) we both pay different prices I think my husband gets a discount being a BT customer although we live in the same house and its our BT not his! Anyway time for an upgrade I looked at what's available and again 2 different prices. We have BT broadband, BT TV, BT phone. The upgrades shown do not compete with others like Tesco so some better pricing will be required if we are to remain ee customers. We both have the same phone and live in the same house so I expect the offers to be the same for both of us.

 If your husband gets a discount on his line and it’s your account it’s because it’s a 2nd line on your account.   Extra lines on an account get a discount the main line doesn’t and that’s your line because you’re the account holder.

My ee plans don't make much sense my husband gets all the discounts:

My plan 1gb £14 monthly but I pay £17.50

My husbands plan 1gb £20  should pay £22.88  but with 3 x discounts pays £7.31 and gets 10gb has to give me half to even it up!!

EE was my account and we visited a shop and the sales person talked my husband into leavin Virgin 10gb for £10 and going on my account hence the discounts I expect.

 At the end of the day 1gb for £17.50 is not fair compared to other providers. It's also not fair my husband gets 10gb for £7.31 

Jury's out at present!
