I’ve also been unable to use my mobile phone since arriving in Australia today. I’ve been in Bangkok for the last 3 days and used the phone there with no issues and set up the phone before leaving the UK for international roaming - including Australia.
Can’t phone EE because can’t get a signal and the chat messages are automated and they can’t seem to resolve the issue.
help!

Post moved to a new thread.
Try manually cycling through each local network in turn - are the symptoms the same on each?

@Alison1968 : As I observe that Thailand & Oz are both in EE ROW Zone 1 you should be able to use phone equally in both.
Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
