My phone was working up until today on Italian networks but now has stopped. V annoying as need to use maps etc whilst out. I’ve tried manually connecting to all the networks and turning phone on and off etc. Anyone got any advice?

Did each of the local networks give similar symptoms?

What does happen when you try using mobile data? Can you make & receive calls?

Hi - seems that whatever network I connect to I can’t make or receive calls and can’t use map data to find my way somewhere. The weird thing is it had been working in Milan / Pisa until yesterday and now just won’t work (am in Florence now).
Would taking out my sim and replacing it make any difference ? My partner it having same issue but he’s with Vodafone so not sure what’s going on !

Removing your SIM will prevent you from having any network access - but risks the loss or damage from physical removal. If you want to try a disconnect/reconnect, then flight mode will achieve the same ends.

Everything you've described, points at a local issue with the Italian networks.

Ok thanks ! Yeh I think it must be an issue wi the the network here. I’m hoping I can get a refund from EE therefore as though it’s shown data usage on my phone I’ve not been able to use it when out and about. Thanks for your help.
