I'm hoping to upgrade my sim plan to include  EU roaming. I can't find anywhere on the website or on the mobile app that enables me to upgrade my plan. 

I have had horrific experiences speaking to EE customer services, so would much prefer to press the buttons myself rather than remote controlling someone to do it, particularly when they consistently do the wrong thing.

Are you in a position to upgrade, i.e. within the upgrade window from 30 days before end of min. term?

You need to upgrade to either an Essential Plus, All Rounder or Full Works SIM-Only plan to include EU roaming. Full Works will also give you ROW Zone 1 roaming.
