Hi, i'm currently in the US and purchased a 900mb 7 day roaming package however my phone won't let me connect to the internet.

I have turned it on and off, turned data roaming on and off, tried putting it in flight mode then on again, i have tried selecting a provider to which the only option is T-mobile. All it does is show an R and full bars but constantly says no internet connection.

I have also tried to ring customer services, however when i do it won't let me select an option.

If EE or anyone could offer some support it would be greatly appreciated as even the facebook chat keeps responding with an automated message

If on contract, did you text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to enable roaming on your account? If not, you'll need to call CS to enable it.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

Hello @ROAMING1234 ,

Welcome to the community,

If on contract did you enable roaming on your account?

Did you receive the welcome message from EE?

I see you have done a manual selection rather than an automatic.

This is not customer service, so we cannot do much, but give suggestions here in the public forum.

To ring customer services you would need to press option 2 to speak to someone if you can ring customer services.

Facebook does not have a chat to solve your problem, as far as i am aware.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Does your phone show network coverage? Can you make & receive voice calls?

If so, you are roaming and the first thing is to manually select an alternative local network. See whether your issue is specific to one local operator or more general - and potentially EE-account or device-related.

Hey,

I haven't had to do that before and when I call CS it won't let me select
any options and the app keeps telling me to log in again.

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. using a web-calling app over WiFi.

Is there a way I can ring of my friends phone who has a contract on EE?

We tried earlier but it just gave him an automated account message.

You may call the Freephone no. off any phone.

Yes, i've recieved a welcome meesage and purchased a USA data roaming ad
on. I've tried all of those and none of them work.

I've tried calling the customer services number and it won't let me select
an option.

It's weird as it will let me use some data if i change my network settings
to 3g / 2g auto connect but not on LTE/3g/ 2g autoconnect.
