Turkey Roaming

Im going to Turkey on Sunday and wondered what i purchase to have roaming and data while there?

I seem to have an add on called EU roaming  at 2.29 a day but that won't cover it as its not in the EU.

Would a £15 Roam abroad pass work or the data travel pass?

My advice would be buy a sim only deal in Turkey when you get there, I did this in Egypt worked out so much cheaper.

Do make sure your phone is unlocked to all networks before you go.

Will do, thanks again 👍

@DarthKnight45 : The Roam Abroad Pass & the £2.29 daily charge are not applicable in Turkey, outside the EU.

As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/turkeyandnortherncyprus.

If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.

If you are on PAYG, make sure you have used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text before leaving the UK.
