I'm currently in the US and up until now my phone's been working fine then all of a sudden, nothing.
I'm stuck on the EU roaming plan, can't call to change, can't text to change.
Had to pay the £5 per day just so i can access my phone.
I've been on the all rounder plan since Nov 2023 with the roaming pass had no issues before...

Whatever billing pass you have is immaterial to the free ability to roam in the first place, the two are different - but often confused.
Has your phone worked in the US (or anywhere outside the EU) previously, whether on this trip or before? If yes - the roaming permissions are inplace and are not the issue. If no - your plan is irrelevant but roaming permissions are.
Advice depends which scenario applies.

Try going to the EE App > Home > Mobile Add-ons > View Inclusive Extras > Change Inclusive Extra and then select the appropriate package ("Roaming Pass ROW" I believe)
Was this the Roam Abroad Pass as an Inclusive Extra?
If so, it has been removed as a result of changes published and implemented from the 4th of December, you can read more here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Roaming/Roaming-refresh/m-p/1480939/highlight/true#M3367
The change took place in December and the old passes have been going through the process of being changed and removed since.
You will now have the choice to choose EU Roaming or Roaming Pass ROW (Covers Zone 1 countries) as an Inclusive Extra if you currently are on an All Rounder or Full Works plan taken before 29th August 2024.
Info can be found on here on the new Zone-based system: ee.co.uk/roamingrefresh

You can't be stuck on an EU plan when you are using the ROW Zone 1 Pass & paying £5 / day for it & it worked for a few days.
It's more likely to be an issue with the local network you are connected to. Try manually connecting to other local networks.

I believe they're stating they've had to pay the £5 for today's usage as their Inclusive Extra changed to EU Roaming, likely to do with withdrawal of the Roam Abroad Pass.
Seems to be a common theme over the last few days.

A very common theme is for billing add-ons & the roaming facility, to be confused.
Having the former without the latter, really should be flagged up more prominently than it is.

Very true, a common trend on the forums undoubtedly.
However I discounted that side of things with the mention of the "up until now my phone's been working fine then all of a sudden, nothing."
Quite possible the Roaming facility is knocked off somehow, but the mention of it working up until now, having to pay £5 for the day and being "stuck on the EU Roaming plan" lines up with what people on All Rounder/Full Works plans pre 29th August 2024 have been reporting in recent days with the removal of their Roam Abroad Pass Inclusive Extra.

True to a point, but assumption is a fast way to make mistakes.
Also with the number of users continuing to confuse billing add-ons, with the technical ability to roam, I'll never apologise for asking posters to confirm what they mean! It reinforces the point, and if that saves one user from finding themselves abroad without enabling roaming, it's totally worth it.

Impossible to know which it is when users don't come back and update on their issue, steps taken, or what resolved it unfortunately.
Simply contributing some additional information not mentioned on the thread based on the details provided.
Posts like these have started to crop up in recent days related to the Inclusive Extra changes https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Roaming/EE-Roaming-Refresh-new-roaming-passes/m-p/1522380/highlight/tr...
Would love to find out what actually caused it in this case, but to me it still sounds more like the billing side when they're able to buy an add-on to use their device as is stated in the post.
