SIM not working Abroad

Hi, I’m currently abroad (QATAR) and  my EE Pay As You Go SIM card is not working either for calls or SMS send and reciving, only EE sms i recieve 
Can you please assist?

There could be a no. of reasons why a PAYG SIM is not working abroad:

  1. Do you have sufficient PAYG credit to pay for calls & texts there?
  2. Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before going abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
  3. When did you previously make a chargeable action?
