SIM card is not working

I'm abroad. Everything was fine. But now my phone's SIM card is not working. I can't make calls. How do I reconnect?

Does your phone show a connection to a local network? Can you send & receive texts?

Try toggling flight mode or manually selecting an alternative local network if symptoms persist.

You've not answered whether your phone snows a mobile network connection - this is needed in order to make or receive calls, send or receive texts or use mobile data.

What was the result of toggling flight mode and using manual network selection?

  1. Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
  2. When were you last in the UK.
  3. Can you connect manually to the network under network settings.
  4. Are you in the EU or outside the EU.
