Roaming in Turkey

Hey, so I'm currently in Turkey and had an email on the WiFi needing to fill a Gov form out but I am away for anlther week and the time will lapse meaning I'll get charged childcare for 3 months when im home!

So... I've come off aeroplane mode 1 week in and not had a text from EE saying welcome to Turkey ect ect...

I had a notification saying I need to pick a data plan after 3 attempts of the page just disappearing, i picked the £6 a day, that's all I need, 1 bloody text from Gov.uk to log in. It keeps going off the Internet saying I have no service, I upgraded to a new S26 Ultra so not logged into the app, managed to log in online but EE rep miss spelt my email address wrong, Stephen not Stefan on my email so can't get security code.

So, I cant get texts from anyone, can't make calls to anyone, can only connect to Internet via WiFi and no WiFi calling or texts, what do i do, because if i don't email, it'll cost a few grand for nursery fees.

When I booked the plan for £6 a few hours ago, i restarted the phone a few times, still nothing, but did have a page that said I have 12 hours left on today's package. I'm in Turkey

Email isn't ******@yahoo.com you guys spent my name wrong so can't even email for help

Why can't you fill Gov't form online on their site over WIFi?

Try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Because to get onto Gov.uk website you get a text message to remember you for 7 days, guess what I cant get...

@StefanC  Did you enable roaming on your EE account before you left the UK ?  Did you text ROAMING to 150 ?  Purchasing add ons doesn’t enable roaming it’s just add on to keep costs down.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
