Hi
I'm currently on a business (monthly) contract with EE which costs me £47 p/month! It's an iPhone 14, which they wont even let me upgrade.
The first time i was abroad with this phone it didnt work (Spain), so i complained when i returned, and eventually (after a lot of shouting), they added EU Roaming free of charge. (I'm fully aware that Dubai is not in the EU)
Now going to Dubai on holiday and have just been quoted £11.08 p/day....!!!!!!!
This is on top of my £47 p/month!
And yet, the rest of my family (with other networks) can you use their phones with no need for additional costs.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Business contracts are often structured differently. As one customer to another my advice would be to renegotiate your contract, that’s assuming that what you are being quoted is as per the roaming rates for your contract.
