As it is not possible to buy roaming in advance when travelling to Albania my son is now in Albania  it you’ve disabled both your website and app so he cannot buy his roaming pass !!!

You knew this was coming yet there was not warning message sent and tou e not bothered to keep customer services open to sort things out manually

what is he supposed to do??

Go to the EE App, then go to the Profile icon in the top right and choose the number in question from the drop-down menu.

There will be an option here to switch on "Buy more data".

This should then allow for the purchases of passes.

It appears as buying more data as it is purchased through the same method that additional data would be purchased if an allowance ran out.

@john19658 : Did he receive a Welcome text upon arrival inviting him to buy a roaming pass?

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yes he did and when he tried to follow the instructions it said he was blocked from buying additional data. We contacted me and I tried to look and I got the maintains message on the app

But it is not extra data he needs to buy but a roaming pass.
