Roaming abroad -

Hi
I’m interested in the roam abroad pass for my forthcoming holiday to Majorca

I don’t go until the 17th August (for 2 weeks) - at what point must I add on? Can I also use it only for the duration of the holiday before cancelling?

Also to confirm - paying for this add on allows me my minutes and data allowance abroad?

Thanks

Hello @Gemmydodger ,

Welcome to the community,

Please make sure that roaming is enabled on your account if on contract, no need if on pay as you go, as it is automatically enabled.

You will get a welcome message when you land and can then choose whether you want a daily pass or 7 or 12 day pass, unless roaming is included in your plan for Europe, where it will be free with up to 50GB of data.

You can take a look here:,

https://ee.co.uk/roamingrefresh?s_cid=con_ee_eng_ee_sms_na_rowroaming_f14-Roaming_Refresh-cc-TARG_L_...

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi thanks for reply

I thought the roam abroad pass was an add on for 30 days- ah it’s really not clear which is why I had wanted to speak to someone.

Wish they had a live chat feature - never mind I’ll hav to ring.

thanks anyway 🙂

@Gemmydodger , if you are on monthly contract with EE, then you should find the message us under help  at the bottom for the app, make sure you have the latest one which came out very recently.

Roaming has had a refresh since earlier this year, that is why I gave you the link, you can also find others at the top when in roaming here under mobile services.

The 30-day add-on Roam Abroad Pass is now defunct since Aug. '24.

You'll receive a Welcome text upon arrival at a country giving your roaming options.

You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.59 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU unless you buy the 7-day EU Pass for £15 or the 12-day EU Pass for £21.50 or you already have them as an Inclusive Extra or you have an EE Essential Plus, All Rounder or Full Works Plan.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.
