Good morning
I'll be going abroad soon with my partner. Both of our phones are on the same account. Can one of us purchase an unlimited roaming data add on, and then gift roaming data to the other phone? Or do we both need individual add ons?

Welcome to the community.
Just to confirm you would both require a roaming add on to be able to use your phones whilst abroad. However if one of you purchased a data add on that person could use the hotspot so the other phone could connect and use data that way.
Here is some Roaming Help
Make sure to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave and check any spend caps on your account too, this will ensure your phone is ready to use once you arrive.
Thanks
Ritu

Where are you going? The a/c holder may gift another some data for use in certain countries. There is a FUP of 50GB / billing month while roaming.

It took me a while to figure it out, but I was barking up the wrong tree. I don't think I actually need any add ons, we can both pay £15 for a 7 day pass to use our allowance as normal abroad. That's not too bad. It saves messing around with power banks or eSims

If you are in the EU, the £15 roaming pass will be a good option for using your standard plan allowances @Samantha0087934.
If you haven't already, text ROAMING to 150 before you go on each phone to make sure that roaming is enabled for the SIM to connect to a network when you travel. It'll also run you through the cost options in case there is anything else for you.
When you arrive and switch your phone on, you'll then get a text which will have a link to purchase the roaming pass.
