Hi, I have a roam further pass and I am going to Cape Verde, does this cover me to use my phone there?

No, you need to buy a 24-hour Zone 3 pass for £7.50 when you arrive. You'll get a Welcome text offering it.
As you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
