Agreed it is a way to fob off existing customers so they don't have to employ staff

150 does not work - it just sends you aroundin circles and is unable to answer anything but the most basic. Dump EE.

The issue is that EE have put up an AUTOMATED CUSTOMER WALL between the company and clients. You cannot talk to a human so you can't answer anything that is not in the main stream of simple enquiries. You keep getting into a loop of stuff you know already but doesn't answer your question and it wastes a lot of time. For example why is the spend cap in EU set to £50 - no idea, why is the EU pass limited to only 7 days meaning you have to renew it every week? Why does it now cost £15 a week when a couple of years ago it was £15 a month? Why can't you invoke it from your app before you go to the country like you could a couple of years ago? No idea - none of the EE systems will tell you and you can't talk to anyone.
Money Saving Expert will show you about 50+ suppliers that are 1/2 or even 1/3rd of the price of EE and many that have no EU roaming charges at all (some in 37 countries some in 50) - currently £2.59 a day on EE. So why anyone uses EE at all beats me - I feel an idiot. and should have dumped EE years ago.

@Woad : Why are you replying to my advice to call EE about EE Home BB with a post entirely about roaming? You can't roam on Home BB! Post in the Roaming forum.

Hi @Woad
You shouldn't have any trouble when calling 150. If you select option 2, this will then give you a list of options to choose from, and we'll then get you through to speak with one of our Guides.
If you're feeling dissatisfied with the cost of roaming in the EU, our team can also discuss the best options for when you travel and review your account.
